Read Aloud Time
Mrs. Shira has a special place arranged in the library for read aloud time with
Kindergarten students once each week through Christmas Break. Primary students have
read aloud time periodically throughout the year. Mrs. Shira plans time to read aloud to
every student at Christmas and at Easter.

Book Club
5th through 8th grade students are invited to join the St. Christopher’s book club to share
insights and thoughts behind some popular books. Occasionally we plan special events
like “Pizza and a Plot.” The Book Club is scheduled for the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays
after school until 3:30 PM. Permission slips are required.
