Dear Families,

St. Christopher’s School Life Group and the parish Respect Life Committee would like to invite you and your family to participate in the prayer vigil for life at the Miami Valley’s Annual Life Chain. What a wonderful way for your family to make a difference as we pray for mothers and their unborn children. Every year it means so much to see the witness of so many children praying with their families, from infants and preschoolers all the way up to young adults in high school and college. Their prayers are filled with faith and so powerful! What a beautiful way to demonstrate that life is indeed precious!

Life Chain will take place from 2-3:30pm on Sunday, October 1
We will meet in the small church lot between 1-1:15pm to pass out maps and directions.
Please bring a canned good or baby item to donate.

If you are unable to attend, but would still like to participate, mothers and their unborn babies need prayers, prayers, and more prayers. Here are some ideas for you and your family:

Pray the rosary or other favorite prayers with your family between 2-3:30 on Oct. 3rd.

Spend some time, even 15 minutes, with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament in the chapel. You will be surprised at how that atmosphere impresses young ones.

Spiritually Adopt a mother and her unborn baby and include them in your family’s evening or mealtime prayers every day. The Lord will know who most needs your prayers.

Fast for unborn babies. One day a week your family could give up sweets or snacks. Offer this sacrifice for mothers and their unborn children.

Help promote a culture of life! Take your children to visit elderly relatives and neighbors, support/assist mothers with young children when you see them, or save your change to buy diapers and other baby items for Elizabeth New Life Center.
